Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Manifest (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes information when you use our Android mobile application (com.manifestapp.manifestation).

The website at cosmicmanifest-bc374.web.app is read-only. It does not collect personal data, use analytics cookies, or offer sign-in. See our Terms of Service for rules governing app use.

1. Data controller

We are the data controller for information processed through the app. Contact us via the developer email address shown on our Google Play store listing.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: When you sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication may receive your name, email address, and profile photo URL.
• Cloud profile: User ID, email, display name, and last login time may be stored in Firebase Firestore.
• Spiritual profile (device only): First name, last name, birth date, birth time, birth country/city, coordinates, and timezone for astrological features. Stored locally on your device.
• App content (device only): Manifestation text, vision board photos, preferences, and session history stored locally.
• Purchases: Subscriptions and in-app products are handled by Google Play Billing. We do not collect payment card numbers.
• Advertising: Free users may see Google Mobile Ads, which can use advertising IDs under Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Technical data: Device model, OS version, crash logs, and Firebase diagnostics for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

• Operate, maintain, and improve the app
• Authenticate users and sync account state
• Provide manifestation, vision board, and premium features
• Verify subscriptions and consumable purchases
• Display advertising on the free tier
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and legal violations

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where applicable, we process data based on contract performance (providing the app), legitimate interests (security and improvement), legal obligations, and consent (e.g., where required for ads).

5. Third-party services

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions)
• Google Sign-In and Google Play Billing
• Google Mobile Ads
• Open-Meteo Geocoding API (city search queries only)

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Local data remains on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall the app. We may keep limited records where required by law or for dispute resolution.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email the Play Store developer contact with the subject Manifest privacy request and the Google account email you use in the app. We respond within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days.

8. Account and data deletion

1. Local data: Android Settings → Apps → Manifest → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app.
2. Sign out: Use the sign-out option in the app.
3. Server data: Email the developer contact with Manifest account deletion and your sign-in email.
4. Google access: Revoke the app at Google Account permissions.
5. Subscriptions: Account deletion does not cancel billing. Cancel under Google Play → Payments and subscriptions.

9. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries where our providers operate (including the United States), with safeguards where required by law.

11. Security

We use industry-standard measures through Firebase and Google infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
